Configuring Citrix XenApp in PATROL
The following topics describe the tasks associated with configuring a Citrix XenApp:
Adding a XenApp farm
Perform the following steps to configure a XenApp farm for monitoring.
- Right-click the Citrix XenApp node and select Knowledge Modules (KM) Commands > Configure XenApp Farm.
- In the Configure Citrix XenApp Farm dialog box, provide the following information:
- In the XenApp Farm text box, enter name of the XenApp farm that you want to monitor.
- In the XenApp Server text box, enter the name of sever which is XenApp controller in the XenApp farm.
- In Username, enter user name for the server. This user must have Citrix View Only admin privileges.
- In Password, enter password for the user.
- In Confirm password, confirm password for the user.
- In Port, enter WinRM port number for XenApp Server. For configuring WinRM, see WinRM configuration.
- In Protocol, select the protocol that will be used for connection. By default, HTTP protocol is used for connection or you can select HTTPS protocol for connection. For HTTPS only self-signed certificate is supported.
- If Use this configuration for all XenApp Servers is selected, the configuration provided for XenApp Server (like credentials, protocol and port) will be used for individual connections with all XenApp servers in the farm.
In Server Name Filter, enter a regular expression to Include or Exclude XenApp servers from monitoring. Use PSL regular expression.
- Select Add to add the XenApp farm to the configured XenApp farms list.
- Click Apply.
- Click Close to close the dialog box.
Removing a configured XenApp farm
Perform the following steps to remove a configured XenApp farm from monitoring.
- Right-click the Citrix XenApp node and select Knowledge Module (KM) Commands > Configure Citrix XenApp Farm.
- In the Configure Citrix XenApp Farm dialog box, select the appropriate host from the Configured XenApp farm list.
- Select the Remove option.
- Click Apply.
- Click Close to close the dialog box.
