This section contains information about new features in version 2.6.00 of the BMC PATROL for Application Management product.

New monitoring abilities

In version 2.6.00 of the BMC PATROL for Application Management, you can monitor real and synthetic data. Performance statistics provided by BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring are derived from real network traffic. BMC Synthetic End User Experience Monitoring synthetic (also called robotic) transactions measure application health based on end-user experience metrics, such as availability, accuracy, and performance.

Product compatibility updates

BMC PATROL for Application Management 2.6.00 is compatible with the Real User Analyzer that is available with BMC TrueSight App Visibility Manager 2.6 or with Real User Monitor 6.6.

Version 2.6.00 is supported with the BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management version 9.5 or later.
