Managing PATROL Agent configuration variables
The PATROL Agent configuration is implemented and saved in a set of configuration variables stored in each agent's PATROL Configuration Database. You can control the PATROL Agent configuration by changing the values of these configuration variables.
You can manage configuration variables by using the pconfig utility or PATROL Configuration Manager.
For more information about using PATROL Configuration Manager, see Configuring-using-PATROL-Configuration-Manager.
For detailed information about the pconfig utility (wpconfig on Windows, xpconfig on UNIX), see the following documents:
- For summary information about wpconfig, see the PATROL Console for Microsoft Windows User Guide - Customizing PATROL, Volume 3.
- For detailed information about how to use pconfig, see the PATROL Agent Reference Manual.
