2.5.00 enhancements

This section contains information about new features and corrected issues in version 2.5.00 of the BMC PATROL Knowledge Module for End User Experience Management (BMC PATROL KM for End User Experience Management) product.

Support for BMC Synthetic End User Experience Monitoring

The BMC PATROL KM for End User Experience Management version 2.5.00 supports synthetic transactions, in addition to real network traffic. BMC Synthetic End User Experience Monitoring synthetic transactions measure application health based on end-user experience metrics, such as availability, accuracy, and performance.

In the BMC ProactiveNet interface, the word real has been removed, such as in the Monitor Type field on the Show Monitors page, as shown in the following figure.

Product compatibility updates

BMC PATROL KM for End User Experience Management version 2.5.00 is compatible with the Real User Analyzer that is available with BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring and Analytics version 2.5.00 or with Real User Monitor 6.5.

Version 2.5.00 is supported with the BMC ProactiveNet 9.5 release, in addition to version 9.0 and version 8.6 of BMC ProactiveNet.
