Stopping the PATROL Agent on OpenVMS in a batch process

This section explains how to stop the PATROL Agent on an OpenVMS host in a batch process.

To stop the PATROL Agent for OpenVMS

  1. Open the system-specific shutdown procedure SYS$MANAGER:SYSHUTDOWN_VMS.COM in a text editor.
  2. Insert the following lines into the system-specific shutdown procedure SYS$MANAGER:SYSHUTDOWN_VMS.COM

Stop the agent using PATROL logical arguments:

@PATROL$HOME:[parm90:MANAGE]PATROL$SHUTDOWN 3181

Stop the agent using disk and path:

@PATROLDISK4:[parm90:PATROL.MANAGE]PATROL$SHUTDOWN 3181
