Announcing support for Oracle Enterprise Linux version 6.4 and 6.5

BMC PATROL Agent version 9.5.00 now supports Oracle Enterprise Linux versions 6.4 and 6.5, on kernel version 2.6.x.

Note

Before you install BMC PATROL Agent on a 64-bit Oracle Enterprise Linux operating system, ensure that you install the appropriate 32-bit Linux packages:

  • compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-61.rpm or compat-libstdc++-.rpm (latest version), which contains the libstdc++.so.5 file
  • nss-softokn-freebl
  • pam-devel
  • glibc
