Configuring the event buffer

If the PATROL Agent loses the connection to BMC Helix Operations Management, it will continue buffering events in its cache. After the connection is reestablished, the PATROL Agent will send the cached events to BMC Helix Operations Management.

The time period for which the events are cached is configured using a pconfig variable:

/AgentSetup/bemBufferKeepWait
