Upgrading


This section describes how to upgrade the PATROL Agent from its previous version.

When deploying a new version of PATROL Agent, perform the following sequence of steps:

  1. Stop the PATROL Agent. For more information, see Starting-and-stopping-the-PATROL-Agent.
  2. You can upgrade the PATROL Agent as explained in the Installing section, as no additional steps are required to upgrade. 
  3. Once the upgrade is completed, start the PATROL Agent. For more information, see Starting-and-stopping-the-PATROL-Agent.
