26.1.02
Audit trail for email notification recipients
When a notification policy sends an email for an event, BMC Helix Operations Management automatically records the email recipients in the Logs & Notes tab in the event details. This capability provides an auditable proof of the notification chain and further simplifies compliance reviews, regulatory audits, and internal verification without any additional configuration.
For more information, see Performing event operations.

Dynamic time frame evaluation in event policies
The IsActiveTimeframe policy function is enhanced to support the following input methods:
- Time frame names in any event field
- Local variables
- Global variables
With this capability, you can eliminate dependency on hardcoded timeframe IDs, thereby reducing manual configuration and continuous policy maintenance. This capability enables fully automated, scalable event handling by allowing external schedulers to dynamically pass maintenance windows, improving operational efficiency in large enterprise environments.
For more information, see Return functions.

(Controlled availability only) Reapply dynamic data enrichment policies on events
If you update an existing event, the dynamic data enrichment policy automatically runs again on the updated event. With this capability, you can reprocess events after fixing data issues or updating the enrichment logic without duplicating events or policies. This results in improved flexibility, cleaner event processing, and more efficient troubleshooting.
For more information, see Event enrichment for adding context.

(Controlled availability only) Unrestricted access to services for RBAC users
Role-based access control (RBAC) is enhanced to provide unrestricted access to services. Users with access to specific services can view all events generated for those services. This capability aligns the authorization model for services along with PATROL solutions, PATROL Agent ACLs, devices, and groups.

Download alarm policy data in a CSV file
Download all alarm policies into a single CSV file for easier auditing. This enhancement lets you review every policy’s configuration in one place, in a clear, human‑readable format.
Additionally, use the Download icon
to download Policy conflicts report along with Alarm policies report.
For more information, see Configuring alarm policies.

Configure blackout policies for a custom duration
Configure blackout policies with more flexibility by specifying a duration for the blackout period to end. With this improvement, your blackout period does not have to end at a specified time; you can configure the period to end after a duration of minutes, hours, or days.
For more information, see Configuring blackout policies.

Override automatic deduplication for events from the same source identifier
The deduplication of a high number of events from the same source identifier can cause processing and performance delays. Use the Disable auto-deduplication option in your deduplication policy to override automatic deduplication of events from the same source identifier. With this feature, you can prevent automatic deduplication of events and improve system performance.
For more information, see Event deduplication and suppression for filtering unwanted events.
