Cloud Services/SDWAN Monitoring
BMC Helix Network Management is capable of monitoring performance metrics from several types of cloud services and SDWAN networks. For cloud services, each supported service is added to BMC Helix Network Management as a managed device. For SDWAN networks, each controller is added to BMC Helix Network Management as a managed device.
Only users with the SuperAdmin access level may add and manage cloud services and SDWAN networks. To open the Cloud Monitoring Administration page, go to the main menu and select Administration > Modules > Cloud Monitoring.
Currently, BMC Helix Network Management supports the following cloud service and SDWAN network types:
Cloud Services
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing Service
SDWAN Networks
- Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)
- Cisco Meraki
- Cisco Viptela
- flexiWAN
- Silver Peak Aruba

Amazon Web Services
BMC Helix Network Management supports monitoring of the following AWS resources:
- Amazon API Gateway (Device Type)
- Amazon EC2 Instance (Device Type)
- Amazon ELB (Device Type)
- Amazon Lambda Function (Device Type)
- Amazon RDS (Device Type)
- Amazon Route 53 (Device Type)
- Amazon S3 Bucket (Device Type)
