Enrich logs

Add meaningful and contextual information to logs that is required to resolve issues. You can use the information from the following sources to enrich logs:

  • DNS
  • CSV
  • LDAP
  • GeoIP

Define an enrichment policy to map one or more enrichment sources and the criteria to apply enrichment.

Collect logs by using Fluentd

Configure log collection by using an interactive user interface with the Collect log from files integration available in BMC Helix Developer Tools. The log collection configuration uses Fluentd connector to collect logs from different applications. You can create parsing and filtering rules, including custom data patterns to include and exclude logs.
