Managing deprecated integrations

Any Dynatrace and SolarWinds integrations that were configured by using BMC Helix Developer Tools( formerly BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations) are deprecated. A deprecated integration continues to work.

You can edit the deprecated integration. However, you cannot configure a new instance of the integration. BMC recommends that you configure a new instance of the integration by using BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations, which uses an API-based and Webhook integration mechanism that is easy to configure, scalable, highly available, and secure. 


To identify deprecated integrations and configure new integrations

  1. To identify deprecated integrations:
    1. Log on to BMC Helix Portal, and click Launch on the BMC Helix Developer Tools.
    2. To view all the deprecated integrations, click Configured Integrations.
      The integration that is deprecated displays the Deprecated message on the configured integration tile as shown in the following example:

  1. To configure new integrations:
    1. Log on to BMC Helix Portal, and click Launch on  BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations.
    2. Configure a new integration for the third-party product.
