 PostgreSQL migration utility to migrate data from PostgreSQL database version 15.x to 17.x

BMC Helix ITOM version 25.2 supports PostgreSQL database version 17.x.

Before upgrading to BMC Helix ITOM version 25.2, use the PostgreSQL migration utility to migrate data from PostgreSQL database 15.x to 17.x.

Validate your environment by using Health Check Tool

Validate your environment before deploying BMC Helix IT Operations Management on-premises by using Health Check Tool (HCT). HCT conducts a series of checks to proactively identify and fix configuration issues, ensuring a smoother deployment process.

Resume deployment from the last failure point

When the BMC Helix ITOM installer stops unexpectedly, such as due to an image pull failure or timeout, the deployment manager resumes from the last point of failure without reinstalling the product services that are already installed. See Deploying BMC Helix IT Operations Management.

Support self-monitoring of the on-premises BMC Helix IT Operations Management

Use BMC Helix Operations Management agents to monitor BMC Helix IT Operations Management on-premises. It leverages the capabilities of BMC Helix AIOps, BMC Helix Discovery, BMC Helix Dashboards, and BMC Helix Log Analytics to show the pod health and various metrics and logs, and to generate service models.
