Support for updated technology stacks
The following technology stacks are supported:
- Kubernetes version 1.30
- NGINX Ingress Controller version 1.11.1

Support for the enterprise version of F5 NGINX Plus Ingress Controller
Starting with BMC Helix ITOM version 24.3, we support the enterprise edition of the F5 NGINX Plus Ingress Controller.
You must obtain the required licenses to install the F5 NGINX Plus Ingress Controller. To learn more about the F5 NGINX Plus Ingress Controller, see NGINX Ingress Controller.
You have the option to use either the enterprise edition or the open-source version of the NGINX Ingress Controller.

Support for OpenSearch version 2.15
Starting with BMC Helix ITOM version 24.3, OpenSearch 2.15 is supported for improved security.
The upgrade from OpenSearch 1.x to 2.15 is an in-place upgrade and does not require additional steps. However, it is important to back up your OpenSearch data before the upgrade.

Support for Cilium service mesh
BMC Helix ITOM version 24.3 supports Cilium service mesh that helps secure communications within a Kubernetes cluster.

Parameters added to or removed from the infra.config and deployment.config files
The following parameters are added to the infra.config file:
- NGINX_CONTROLLER - Use this parameter to specify whether you want to use the enterprise edition of the F5 NGINX Plus Ingress controller (NGINX_PLUS) or the open source version (NGINX_OPENSOURCE).
- INGRESS_TLS_SECRET_NAME - When using a self-signed certificate, use this parameter to specify the TLS secret.
