Getting started

BMC Helix IT Operations Management enables IT departments to monitor the performance and availability of the infrastructure and applications that comprise their services, monitor events coming from the infrastructure devices, and monitor transactions from the applications that enable the services they deliver. BMC Helix IT Operations Management combines broad capabilities across monitoring and event management with a containerized microservices architecture that enables fast deployment and upgrades, elastic scalability, and performance. 

The following components can be deployed by using containers:

• BMC Helix Operations Management
  This component includes:
  • BMC Helix Dashboards
  • BMC Helix Log Analytics
  • BMC Helix AIOps
  • BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations
• BMC Helix Continuous Optimization
• BMC Helix Intelligent Automation
  To deploy this component, BMC Helix AIOpsis required. For BMC Helix AIOps, BMC Helix Operations Management is required.

Depending on your license, you can deploy the components that you need. You can also deploy only the BMC Helix Platform common services for use with applications such as BMC Helix ITSM.
