Viewing load balancers


Load balancer information is discovered by BMC Discovery using SNMP. BMC Discovery identifies a hardware or virtualized Application Delivery Controller (ADC) that has load balancer options enabled as load balancer. When such a device is found, BMC Discovery creates a network device node and triggers the load balancer discovery patterns to discover the associated load balancing components. These components include pools, hosts and services, which are represented in the BMC Discovery UI and are described in the following pages:
