Command-line debugging

You can use the GeneralManagerClient application, provided with the Gateway Server, to execute all of the methods that the BMC Helix Continuous Optimization client executes. Run the application by means of the command-line.

For example, on UNIX systems, to contact myComputer on port 10129 and retrieve the console operating system, use the following command:

$BEST1_HOME/bgs/bin/GeneralManagerClient -s myComputer:10129 getConsoleOS

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
