Servers Overview view


The Servers Overview view provides detailed information about servers, future saturation and File Systems.


To access the Servers Overview view, in the navigation pane of Views tab, select  Views > Servers > Overview.

Settings

You can use the Settings page to configure the settings for all pages in the Server Overview view. To access this page, select Settings icons.png> View Settings on the Servers Overview view page.

Field

Description

Local Settings

Top/Bottom Servers Rank - CPU Weight

Edit the required server CPU weight. This factor is used to rank servers in the view.

Top/Bottoms Servers Rank -  Memory Weight

Edit the required server memory weight. This factor is used to rank servers in the view.

Top/Bottoms Servers Rank - Storage Weight

Edit the required server storage weight. This factor is used to rank servers in the view.

Maps Settings

CPU Utilization %

Edit the threshold values for the CPU usage that is displayed on the Maps page of the Servers Overview view. The servers are graphically represented on the Maps page according to these threshold values. 

  • Low Threshold: The entities with capacity starting from 0 to a value below the value specified in this box are displayed in the shades of blue.
  • Good Threshold: The entities with capacity starting from the value in the Low Threshold box to the value below the value in this box are displayed in the shades of green.
  • Warn Threshold: The entities with capacity starting from the value in the Good Threshold box to the value below the value in this box are displayed in the shades of yellow.
    The entities with capacity above the value in the Warn Threshold box are displayed in the shades of red.

Real Mem Utilization %

Edit the threshold values for the real memory usage that is displayed on the Maps page of the Servers Overview view. The servers are graphically represented on the Maps page according to these threshold values. 

  • Low Threshold: The entities with capacity starting from 0 to a value below the value specified in this box are displayed in the shades of blue.
  • Good Threshold: The entities with capacity starting from the value in the Low Threshold box to the value below the value in this box are displayed in the shades of green.
  • Warn Threshold: The entities with capacity starting from the value in the Good Threshold box to the value below the value in this box are displayed in the shades of yellow.
    The entities with capacity above the value in the Warn Threshold box are displayed in the shades of red.

Storage Utilization

Edit the threshold values for the storage usage that is displayed on the Maps page of the Servers Overview view. The servers are graphically represented on the Maps page according to these threshold values. 

  • Low Threshold: The entities with capacity starting from 0 to a value below the value specified in this box are displayed in the shades of blue.
  • Good Threshold: The entities with capacity starting from the value in the Low Threshold box to the value below the value in this box are displayed in the shades of green.
  • Warn Threshold: The entities with capacity starting from the value in the Good Threshold box to the value below the value in this box are displayed in the shades of yellow.
    The entities with capacity above the value in the Warn Threshold box are displayed in the shades of red.

Other Settings

Show Benchmark Type

Edit the required benchmark type in the box. Use the subresource for resource BYBENCHMARK_VALUE.

Virtual Nodes - Include Virtual Systems 

Enable to include the details of the virtual systems in your environment in the Servers Overview view.

Data views

Displays the details when the view was last refreshed. Click Refresh views to refresh all Server Overview views. After you click this button, all Server Overview views are scheduled for materialization.

Important

The option to Refresh views is available only if your user role has permissions to edit the view. For more details about permissions, see Configuring-authorization-profiles.

Optimizer Thresholds

Click the link to modify the threshold of a metric or an indicator.  The Thresholds page in the Helix Capacity Optimization Console opens in a new browser tab or window. For more details, see Configuring-and-managing-thresholds-for-metrics-and-indicators.
