Analyzing your infrastructure data by using capacity views


BMC Helix Continuous Optimization provides visibility into the capacity utilization and size of the IT infrastructure in a physical, virtual, cloud, container, databases, storage, networks, and virtually any domain.

With views, the capacity planner, can review and analyze the utilization of the resources in your environments.

Capacity views for some technologies and environments are available out-of-the-box. Additionally, the administrator can define customized views that are tailored to different organizational roles or to specific services and applications.

Views are populated after the relevant ETL modules are run followed by the materializer task run. For information about the time when these tasks are run, contact your administrator. If you want to use a view immediately after importing data through the ETL modules, you can do a force refresh of a view.
