Collecting ETL logs at log level 10

You can configure an ETL to collect logs at log level 10. With this configuration, additional activity details are included in the logs that help you to troubleshoot ETL issues.

Do the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Administration > ETL & system tasks > ETL tasks.
  2. Select the ETL.
  3. In the Run configurations table, clickedit_simulation_icon.pngto modify the ETL task. 
  4. On the Edit run configuration page, click Advanced.
  5. Note down the current value that is configured for the Log level property.
  6. Change the Log level property value to 10 - Verbose. 
  7. Save the changes and run the ETL.
  8. After you run the ETL and the logs are collected, set the log level back to the earlier value to avoid filesystem space issues.
