Sharing services from the My Cloud Services Console

If you are a service offering instance owner, you can share the service offering instance with cloud users in your tenant to enable access to commonly required service offering instances. When you share service offering instances among cloud users, they get the privileges to perform all the actions, such as startingstopping, or decommissioning services. When a service offering instance is shared, quota is neither affected nor shared with other cloud users.

Notes

  • You can share a service only if it is in a running or stopped state.
  • If a cloud administrator transfers a shared service to a cloud user in a different tenant, the service is no longer shared with the users in the current tenant.
  • If you do not own a service offering instance, you cannot share the service instance further.

This topic describes how to share a service offering instance from the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management – My Cloud Services Console with a cloud user or group of users.
