Managing PaaS resources

The PaaS link bar on the My Services tab shows an aggregate view of all provisioned database resources. In the list at left, each item represents a database. If you expand the item, you see all instances for that database.

This view provides information about the databases and database instances.

For example, "Deployed software" are functional components.

Using this view you can stop and start, and view information about platform as a service (PaaS) resources. Currently, the only types of PaaS resource available for provisioning are Oracle databases.

To start or stop a PaaS resource

  1. From the list of resources on the PaaS link bar on the My Services tab, select the resource that you want to start or stop. You must select a database and not a database instance.
  2. Click Start start_button.jpg or Stop stop_button.jpg.

A prompt bar at the top of the Service Instances pane displays an informational message that shows the action is in progress.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
