Upgrading BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management


The BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management Installer enables you to upgrade BMC products in your cloud environment. The installer now includes the integration process as part of the upgrade.

Note

In 4.0, the installer has been re-designed so that you no longer use the Integrate with Existing Deployment option to detect existing BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management products in your environment. 

Use the procedure in this section for both Linux and Microsoft Windows environments. Any specific requirements or steps for the installation that depend on the environment are called out specifically in the procedure.

High-level steps for upgrading the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management solution

Perform the following high-level steps to install the solution:

  1. Decide whether you want to upgrade products in production or staging environments.
  2. Start the upgrade and review the integration guidelines. 
  3. Upgrade products one by one based on the upgrade sequence provided.
