Licensing BMC Compact RDS
You must obtain a BMC Remedy Action Request (AR) System license key to install the BMC Remedy AR System server that is required with BMC Compact RDS. A license key is a value that enables you to activate a license. In BMC Remedy AR System 8.0, only AR System server licenses require keys. Each key is tied to a particular host; a unique entry for each server is therefore required within the Add or Remove Licenses form. To request a temporary or permanent key, you must access the BMC Support Central Site at http://www.bmc.com/support.
