Savvis service offering specifications


Savvis Symphony Virtual Private Data Center (VPDC) provides three service profiles, which are differentiated by features, resource sizing, resource priorities, and support levels. Service differentiation includes, but is not limited to, the size of computing resources, redundancy, security, network bandwidth, service level agreement (SLA), priority, storage tier, support level, and cost of service. You can select individual service profiles for each VPDC that is defined, according to specific application needs.

The following table lists each of the features for the service profiles:

  • 1 Private VLAN with 3 logically separated network tiers, 
  • Network priority class - Medium
  • High speed persistent, SAN storage with 2-tier ILM
  • User-configurable perimeter firewall and server tier firewall
  • User-configurable load balancer with unlimited bandwidth
  • Dedicated Public VLAN
  • High speed, persistent, SAN storage
