You must backup your product databases before you migrate the delta data. The following table lists the tasks that you must not perform on each of the products while the delta data is being migrated to version 3.1.

Note: If you are upgrading BMC Service Request Management from version 2.2 to 7.6.02 or earlier, all service requests in the Waiting Approval state must be approved or rejected before you run the Delta Data Migration tool.
