SAP systems ZipKit issues

The following table contains explanations and workarounds for problems you might encounter when working with the SAP systems ZipKit:

Service Offering fails

Check the following logs for detailed information:

  • BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management log:

\Program Files\BMC Software\BMCCloudLifeCycleManagement\Platform_Manager

\logs\csm.log

  • BMC Server Automation logs:

\Program Files\BMC Software\BladeLogic\NSH\br

Unable to execute ZBDLSMAINTAIN, ZBMCVARIANT or ZBMCPOSTPROCESSING in SAP

Ensure that the SAP user ID has authorization object ZBMC_SCAPA with relevant activity in the user master record.

SAP Transactions or programs did not execute following SAP ERP system refresh

Check variant with SAP transaction ZBMCVARIANT.

SAP Transactions or programs executed during post ERP system refresh fail

Execute the SAP transaction ZBMCPOSTPROCESSING and check:

  • Complete log
  • Transaction-specific log
  • BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management log:

\Program Files\BMC Software\BMCCloudLifeCycleManagement\Platform_Manager

\logs\csm.log

  • BMC Server Automation logs:

\Program Files\BMC Software\BladeLogic\NSH\br

 BDLS logical conversions did not run as expected

 Check if correct data has been maintained in the SAP transaction ZBDLSMAINTAIN.
