Configuring the Appliance resources

This section provides topics about how to configure resources for the Appliance Provider.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have completed the following tasks:

  • Set up the Appliance Provider as described in Installing-the-Appliance-Provider.
  • Downloaded and extracted the BMC Network Automation blueprints (.xml files) at an appropriate location on the BMC Network Automation computer.
  • Configured the Appliance resources (device security profile, device, pod blueprints, templates, container blueprints, physical location, and pod) using BMC Network Automation. For details about configuring these resources, see the confluenceSpace:bna85 documentation.
