Prerequisite for the ZipKit

  • Ensure that you have created a Windows 64 bit 2008 R2 template in the vCenter.
  • After you have downloaded the iSCSI Target, you must run the iscsiTargetqfe6.exe and extract the file contents to any software repository location. After extracting the iSCSI Target, navigate to the folder x64 where you have extracted the file contents and copy the iscsitarget_public.msi file to the repository location. You must then refer this location in the eZDeploy utility to import the iSCSI target file.
  • For Failover cluster you need two Network cards (NICs) and these NICs should be on different networks for both cluster nodes. Also, two static IP addresses.
  • Windows Active Directory domain account ID.
  • Domain service account for SQL services.
