Getting started with the Rabbit MQ 3.1 on RHEL 5.9 ZipKit
RabbitMQ is open source message broker software (sometimes called message-oriented middleware) that implements the Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP). The RabbitMQ server is written in the Erlang programming language and is built on the Open Telecom Platform framework for clustering and failover.

What is in the ZipKit
The Rabbit MQ ZipKit contains the following subpackages:

Prerequisites for the ZipKit
- Ensure that you have created a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.9 (RHEL 5.9) VM template in the vCenter.
While creating the RHEL 5.9 template, choose the following options for RHEL 5.9 operating system:
- Base System - Base
- Development - Development Tools and Development Libraries
- Desktop: Desktop, Desktop Platform, X Window System
- After creating the template, disable SELinux.
