Starting, stopping, and re-starting SAP systems
While operating an SAP system landscape, you might encounter situations where you may want to start, stop or re-start an existing SAP system.
To start, stop, and re-start an SAP system
- Log on to the Cloud Portal.
- Navigate to Service Instances.
- Click any existing ERP service.
- In the toolbar, click Modify Actions
and select Start/Stop SAP System from the drop-down menu.
The SAP ERP 6.0 EHP5 ABAP based on NW7.02 - RHEL/Oracle screen appears.
- Depending on your requirement you can select any one of the following options and click Next:
- Start SAP ERP Service
- Stop SAP ERP Service
- Restart SAP ERP System
The second section of the SAP ERP 6.0 EHP5 ABAP based on NW7.02 - RHEL/Oracle screen appears.
- Click Submit.
After you submit the request, based on the option you selected, the system start, stop, or re-start starts.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
