Installing software as a part of the service offering in the Terremark Provider
Additional software can be installed on virutal machines (VMs) that are provisioned in the Terremark Provider. The offerings can be created as single-tier or multi-tier offerings.
Before you begin
- Create BMC Server Automation jobs. For more information, see Creating-a-BMC-Server-Automation-Deploy-Job-or-an-application-component-template.
- Create DML entries for the software to be installed as per Executing the Publish Product Catalog Job documentation.
- Upload a custom template containing the RSCD agent to the Terremark Provider.
To define service blueprints
- Navigate to the Service Blueprints Definition editor.
- In the Service Definition tab of the Service Blueprints Definition editor, select a component.

- Click Edit.

- In the Software Packages tab of the Component Details page, select available software packages.
- Click Add.
- Click OK.
- In the Service Deployment Definitions tab of the Service Blueprints Definition editor, click the Resource Sets tab and select an entry.

- Click Edit.

- Ensure that the Install Software option is checked and click OK.
