Amazon EC2 integration enhancements


Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) integration includes the following enhancements:

  • Available out-of-the-box
  • Seamless upgrade of existing Amazon EC2 provider implementations
  • Support for multiple Amazon accounts
  • Support for multiple Amazon Regions and Availability Zones
  • Support for multiple Amazon Virtual Private Clouds (Amazon VPCs) and subnets
  • Support for Amazon EC2 security groups, Amazon EC2 SSH key pairs, and Amazon Elastic IP addresses through blueprint parameters
  • Capability of creating an OS user on an instance by using a BMC Server Automation Network Shell (NSH) script
  • Capability of layering BMC Server Automation-provisioned and parameterized software on top of an Amazon EC2 instance
  • Support for Amazon Machine Instance (AMI) variant control through CPU and memory provisioning options
