- BMC Atrium Orchestrator – Configuration Distribution Peer (HA)
Uninstall BMC Server Automation components
Ensure that the BMC Server Automation components described in the following sections are not installed on any target host.
Uninstall the BMC Server Automation Remote Server Call Daemon agent
Ensure the BMC Server Automation Remote Server Call Daemon (RSCD) Agent is not installed on any target host. The BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management Installer automatically installs the RSCD agent before a product is installed.

(Linux) Go to the /opt/bmc/bladelogic directory and delete the RSCD folder. - (Windows) Manually delete the C:\Windows\rsc folder.
(Linux) Manually delete the /usr/lib/rsc folder. - Restart the computer.

Uninstall BMC Server Automation Network Shell
Ensure that the BMC Server Automation Network Shell (NSH) is not installed on any host computers in your cloud environment. Instead, use the installer to install NSH. For more information about uninstalling the BMC Network Shell, see Uninstalling in the BMC Server Automation 8.2.00.
Install web browser
Install Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox on any host on which you want to access the mid tier. For more information about the version of web browsers to install, see http://www.bmc.com/support.
Verify connectivity and security
- For Linux, enable the Secure Shell (SSH) network protocol.
- Ensure that you are able to ping the target host on which you want to install a BMC product (for example: ping <hostname>).
- Verify that the IP address returned by the ping command matches the target computer's IP address.
- For Linux, use the ifconfig eth0 command.
- For Windows, use the ipconfig command.
