Verifying DSO and providers
As part of the post-installation configuration, you must verify that Distributed Server Option (DSO) is working and that providers are present.
To verify that BMC Remedy DSO is working
- Log in to the BMC AR System Server - Cloud Database primary host with the BMC Remedy User client or a browser.
- Open the BMC Remedy AR System Administration Console.
- Select Application > Users > Users.
- Search for the cloud administrator user that you just created.
If the cloud administrator user is present, DSO is working correctly.
To check that the providers are present
- From the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management Administration Console, click the vertical Workspaces menu on the left side of the window and select Providers.
- Under Compute, verify that BMC Service Automation is present.
- Under Network, verify that BMC Network Automation is present.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
