Setting hostname preferences for provisioned servers

You can customize the hostnames that BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management uses for provisioned servers.

To set hostname preferences

  1. Click the General tab from the Configuration workspace.
  2. Under HostName Preferences, specify the HostName Length, User Input Maximum Length, and the HostName Pattern as described in the table below.
  3. Make any other changes needed on the General tab and click Save.

The macro unmigrated-inline-wiki-markup from Confluence is no longer available.
