Before BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management can use a third-party resource provider, you must first register an instance of that resource provider.
When you register the Terremark provider instance, you specify configuration values that enable the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management Terremark provider instance to communicate with the external Terremark Enterprise Cloud provider. Typically this configuration is one-time task of the infrastructure configuration process.
This topic provides the following information about registering the Terremark provider instance:
Before you begin
Ensure that you have installed the Terremark provider.

- From the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management Administration Console, click the vertical Workspaces menu on the left side of the window and select Providers.
- On the Providers page, click Register
. - In the Register Provider dialog box, select TerremarkIaaSProvider from the Provider Type list.
The corresponding registration fields are displayed.

Supply the required inputs:

This macro generates standalone content. As a consequence you need to make sure to use a syntax that separates your macro from the content before and after it so that it's on a line by itself. For example in XWiki Syntax 2.0+ this means having 2 newline characters (a.k.a line breaks) separating your macro from the content before and after it.
* Click Submit.
- Stop the BMC_CSM service of the BMC Cloud Platform Manager (OSGi):
(Windows) Use the stop command link in the Services window.
(Linux) Enter the /etc/init.d/stop bmccsm command from the specified path. Restart the BMC_CSM service of the BMC Cloud Platform Manager (OSGi):
(Windows) Use the start command link in the Services window.
(Linux) Enter the /etc/init.d/start bmccsmcommand from the specified path.

Note
You cannot deregister a provider if any objects or resources from that provider exist.
- From the list in the Providers workspace, select the Terremark provider instance.
- Click Deregister
. - When the confirmation dialog box is displayed, click OK.
If you need to change some of the information that you supplied when you registered a resource provider instance during installation, you can edit the information.

- Click Edit
.
The Edit Provider dialog box is displayed with the current information. Make your changes.
Note
You cannot change the Provider Type or Name.
