Performing the Terremark provider installation
This topic describes how to perform the Terremark resource provider installation.
Before you begin
- Ensure that you have downloaded the Terremark resource provider installer.
- Ensure that you have Administrative privileges on the computer on which you are running the installer.
- Ensure that the BMC Remedy Action Request System server is running on the computer where the BMC Enterprise AR System and BMC Cloud AR System is installed.
To install the Terremark resource provider
Start the installer.
- On the Welcome page, click Next.
- Review the license agreement, select I agree to the terms of license agreement, and then click Next.
- Review the Terremark Provider Installation Prerequisites window, shown in the following figure and ensure that the installation requirements are met:
- Select I have read the prerequisites, and then click Next.
- In the BMC Remedy Action Request System (AR System) inputs window, shown in the following figure, specify the BMC Remedy AR System server name, BMC Remedy AR System user credentials, and click Next.
- In the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management Platform Manager inputs window, shown in the following figure, specify the required details and click Next.
- Name of the server where the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management Platform Manager is installed.
- Platform Manager user credentials
- The path where the Platform Manager is installed
- On the Installation Preview page, click Next.
- Read the warning related to stopping of BMC_CSM service of the BMC Cloud Platform Manager (OSGi) and click Next.
- On the Installation Summary page, click View Log to review any messages.
- Click Done to exit the installer.
To verify that the provider bundle has started successfully
Check the following log files:

If the provider bundle has started successfully, the following entry exists in the log files:
STARTING com.bmc.cloud.TerremarkIaaSProvider.internal.Activator
If the provider bundle has not started successfully, check the log files for entries that indicate a problem.
