Installing software specified as a part of offering
Additional software can be installed on VMs provisioned in Terremark. The offerings can be created as single tier or multi-tier offerings.
This topic provides the following information about installing software.
Before you begin
- Create BMC Server Automation jobs. For more information, see Creating-a-BMC-Server-Automation-Deploy-Job-or-an-application-component-template.
- Create DML entries for the software to be installed as per Executing the Publish Product Catalog Job documentation.
- Upload a custom template containing the RSCD agent to Terremark.
Defining service blueprints
You use the Service Blueprints Definition editor to install the software specified as a part of service offering. Following are the steps:
- In the Service Definition tab of the Service Blueprints Definition editor, select a component.

- Click Edit.

- In the Software Packages tab of the Component Details page, select available software packages.
- Click Add.
- Click OK.
- In the Service Deployment Definitions tab of the Service Blueprints Definition editor, click the Resource Sets tab and select an entry.

- Click Edit.

- Make sure that Install Software is checked.
- Click Ok.
