Configuring post-deployment actions (for the service deployment definition)

In the Post Deployment Actions tab on the Service Deployment Definitions tab, you can select BMC Atrium Orchestrator workflow that runs a particular action after the service deployment definition (SDD) is provisioned. For example, you can run workflow to create directories on the disk.

Currently, only the AO Workflow is supported as a post-deployment action for the SDD.

To configure post-deployment actions (for the service deployment definition)

1. Click the Post Deployment Actions tab.
2. Click New .
3. Select the type of action to run.
    Only AO Workflow is currently supported.
4. For each action in the Action Type column, click in the Action column and enter the action to perform. Include any parameters that the action requires. For information on context items and parameters, see the BMC Atrium Orchestrator online documentation on context items and System parameters
    Use the delineated AO Workflow path — <Module>:<Name>
    For example, enter:
   MyProvisioningActions:UpdateDNS
    You must ensure that the AO Workflow is actually available in BMC Atrium Orchestrator. For information about workflows, see the BMC Atrium Orchestrator online technical documentation.
5. Click OK to close the Resource Set Details dialog box.
