Editing policies

You can edit a policy to add a condition, remove a condition, or change a condition in the policy.

To edit a policy

  1. From the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management Administration console, click the vertical Workspaces menu on the left side of the window and select Service Governor.
The Service Governor workspace is displayed:

The macro unmigrated-inline-wiki-markup from Confluence is no longer available.

  2. In the Quick Links section under Policies, click the policy that you want to edit: Network Container, Compute Pools, or Virtual Disk Repository Pools.
  3. You can make the following changes:
    • You can select Match All or Match Any.
      • Match All — All of the conditions listed in this policy must be met before the policy will be in effect. If you have only one condition, Match All is the only option available.
      • Match Any — If any of the conditions listed in this policy are met, the policy will be in effect.
    • You can add a condition by clicking Add condition plus_button.gif.
    • You can remove a condition by clicking Delete condition minus_button.gifnext to the condition that you want to delete.
    • You can change the tag source for a condition by clicking the dropdnarrow.giflist in the Tag Source column.
      • Service Blueprint — Indicates that you want to match tags applied to service blueprints
      • Tenant — Indicates that you want to match tags applied to tenants
    • You can change the tag group for a condition by clicking the dropdnarrow.giflist in the Tag Group column.
  4. Click Save.
