Applying hotfixes to SP2 for 2.1.00

This topic provides the procedures for applying the hotfixes that are required for version 2.1 SP2.

Applying BMC BladeLogic Network Automation 8.1.04 hotfix 2

The BMC BladeLogic Network Automation hotfix provided in knowledge article KA366125 corrects issue number QM001745339 (hotfix 2): Provisioning a VM with a virtual load balancer fails when using BMC BladeLogic Network Automation version 8.1.04.

  1. Log on to the BMC Software Customer Support Knowledge Base.
  2. Enter KA366125 in the Search field and click Ask.
  3. Download the hotfix from KA366125 to a temporary directory.
  4. Unzip the file.
  5. Follow the directions listed in KA366125 to apply the hotfix.

Applying the BMC Atrium Orchestrator hotfix

The BMC Atrium Orchestrator hotfix provided in knowledge article KA365812 corrects issue number QM001738323: A BMC Atrium Orchestrator peer fails to start when loading an XML schema with references to www.w3.org.

  1. Log on to the BMC Software Customer Support Knowledge Base.
  2. Enter KA365812 in the Search field and click Ask.
  3. Download the hotfix from KA365812 to a temporary directory.
  4. Unzip the file.
  5. Follow the directions listed in KA365812 to apply the hotfix.
