Running the installer from multiple hosts

This topic describes how to install BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management 2.0.00 from multiple hosts. You must run the installer successfully on one host and then save the PlannerProductRegistry.xml registry file to a different location. This file preserves a record of all your Cloud Lifecycle Management products.

Before you begin

Copy the installer executables to the host machines from which to run the installer.

To run the installer from multiple hosts

1. Use the installer to install at least one product on one host.
2. When the installation is finished, copy the PlannerProductRegistry.xml registry file to the second host at the following location:
   C:\PlannerProductRegistry.xml
3. Launch the installer on the second host.
4. In the lower right corner of the Welcome page, click Next .
5. Review the license agreement and agree to its terms, and then click Next.
6. Select Integrate with an Existing Deployment, and then click Next.
7. Select I have a backup BMC Installation registry, and then click Next.
    The BMC Installation Registry Location page appears.
8. Select the Browse button to find the directory from your previous installation.
    The default location is C:\PlannerProductRegistry.xml.
9. Click Next.
10. Continue with the installation.
