Deployment templates

The BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management 2.1.00 Installer allocates components based on predefined templates that provide a streamlined approach to sizing and configuring your deployment. Based on your requirements, you will select a template when you launch the installer that closely matches your planned deployment scenario. The model types include:

  • Proof of Concept (POC)
  • Small Deployment
  • Medium Deployment
  • Large Deployment

Proof of Concept

Select this option when a small footprint is needed. A proof of concept (POC) deployment creates an environment for prototyping purposes with 1 location and 1 node. It supports up to 1000 devices (virtual or physical).

Small

Select this option if your deployment manages up to 10,000 physical or virtual devices. 

Medium

Select this option if your deployment manages up to 25,000 physical or virtual devices.

Large

Select this option if your deployment manages up to 50,000 physical or virtual devices.
