Object pointers

An object pointer is a URI that references an existing cloud object. The URI is composed of the class name and unique identifier for the object in the following general format:

"/<class>/<guid>"

You can use object pointers in JSON documents to reference existing objects. The following JSON snippet is a pointer to an existing Location object:

"location" : "/Location/0011cf00-0eed-11e0-ac64-0800200c9a66"

You can use an array of pointers to reference multiple objects. The following JSON snippet is an array that contains a list of pointers to several Organization objects:

"assignedOrganizations" : [
  "/Organization/0a1b55c0-0ee8-11e0-ac64-0800200c9a66",
  "/Organization/4c7b85c0-0ee8-11e0-ac64-0800200c9a66",
  "/Organization/a059b0c0-0eef-11e0-ac64-0800200c9a66"
]

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
