Specify the date and time to execute an operation that uses Ansible job templates to remediate vulnerabilities. This capability streamlines and automates remediation workflows, improves operational efficiency, and helps ensure vulnerabilities are remediated within defined SLAs.

Support for the Microsoft Defender Scanner connector

Use the Microsoft Defender scanner connector with BMC Helix Automation Console to retrieve the vulnerability scan results from multiple Microsoft Defender instances. You can then process the vulnerabilities, map the remediation content, and create operations to remediate those vulnerabilities.

Improved user experience on the Vulnerabilities page

View additional information for individual vulnerability instances, such as impacted asset name, operating system, and risk score. You can also select the columns to be displayed for each vulnerability instance. With this capability, you can efficiently prioritize vulnerabilities and remediate them.

Create change requests for vulnerability remediation operations that use Ansible job templates

Create change requests in BMC Remedy IT Service Management and ServiceNow ITSM to approve vulnerability remediation operations that use Ansible scripts via integration with BMC Helix Intelligent Automation. This capability helps organizations reduce the risk of unauthorized and unplanned changes by enabling automated change tracking while performing remediation actions.

Sync remediation scripts generated by BMC HelixGPT with Ansible Automation Platform

As an administrator, enable the Sync Remediation Scripts to Intelligent Automation option from the Configuration menu. With this capability, you can synchronize Ansible remediation scripts generated by BMC HelixGPT with the Ansible Automation Platform through BMC Helix Intelligent Automation. This synchronization is performed directly from the Code Wizard within the BMC Helix AIOps console. Once synced, the scripts are automatically mapped to all assets impacted by the vulnerability and are available when creating a vulnerability remediation operation. This enhancement eliminates the need to export, upload, or recreate scripts manually.
