Enabling integration points

By default, integration points are disabled in the Virtual Chat Administration Console except Self Service Relate Context which is enabled by default. You must manually activate the following integration points:

  • Cancel Ticket on Abandon
  • Open Incident on Chat Close
  • Self Service - Relate Contact Info
  • Self Service - Create Request
  • Submit Chat Work Log on Close

To enable integration points

  1. Open the Virtual Chat Administration Console.
  2. Select Integrations > Chat Integrations.
  3. Select Open Incident on Chat Close and click Modify.
  4. In the Configure Chat Integration Settings dialog box, set the Status to Active.
  5. Click Save
  6. Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 for the following integration points:
    • Cancel Ticket on Abandon
    • Self Service - Relate Contact Info
    • Self Service - Create Request
    • Submit Chat Work Log on Close
