The Chat Notification Servlet Proxy Pass (CNS Proxy Pass) is a configuration setting used to streamline the process of sending notifications to the self-service user and support agent in a load-balancing environment. Administrators can enable CNS Proxy Pass from the Virtual Chat Administration Console. For more information, see Enabling CNS Proxy Pass.

Deprecated features

Integration of BMC Virtual Chat and Microsoft Lync

In version 9.1.02, integration of BMC Virtual Chat with Microsoft Lync is no longer available for customers who perform a fresh installation. Customers using the Microsoft Lync integration can upgrade to BMC Virtual Chat 9.1.02 and continue to use the integration with Microsoft Lync. Installing the service pack

The service pack installer is a full product installer that you can use to install BMC Virtual Chat or to upgrade from earlier versions, as described in Installing and Upgrading.
