Opening application consoles

The following procedure describes how to open the following Service Request Management consoles:

  • Administrator Console
  • Service Catalog Manager Console
  • Service Request Designer
  • Service Request Coordinator Console
  • Business Manager Console
  • Work Order Console
  • Import Export Console
  • Product Ordering Admin Console

To open application consoles

  1. In a browser, enter the following URL in the address bar:
    http://<webServer>:<port>/arsys/
    • <webServer> is the fully qualified name of the BMC Remedy Mid Tier system, specified in the format server_name.company.com.
    • <port> is an optional port number, which is needed if the web server is not on the default port (port 80).
  2. Enter your user name and password, and click Login .
  3. In the navigation panel of the Home Page, select the console you want to view; for example, Service Request Manager > Service Catalog Manager Console.

Tip

Create a favorite or bookmark for each console you want to access directly.
