System requirements

The Live Chat 19.11 is available only to BMC Helix Subscribers (SaaS). 

Software requirements

Live Chat version 19.11 requires the following software:

  • Action Request System version 19.11
  • Smart IT version 19.11
  • Remedy IT Service Management Suite version 19.11
  • Remedy Single Sign-On version 19.11
  • Apache Tomcat 7 or higher
  • To use live chat feature in BMC Helix Business Workflows, you require BMC Helix Business Workflows version 19.11.


Note

Customers who are using both Smart IT and BMC Helix Business Workflows with Live Chat require only one instance of Live Chat that will run and cater to both the applications.

Supported browsers

Live Chat supports using the Self Service Portal in the following desktop browsers: 

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 or higher
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Google Chrome (latest version)
  • Mozilla Firefox (latest version)
